The Haffkine Library is committed to supporting knowledge, research and learning through clearly defined objectives.

• Support the learning community, faculty, researchers and scientists in their day-to-day information needs

• Collect, process, organise and disseminate scientific information in print and other media in the field of Biomedicine and allied subjects.

• Make available the information sources required by the clientele.

• Assist the clientele in tracing supportive literature and documents not available in this library.

• Stand as a gateway to scientific information in both print and electronic formats.

• Harness the research interests among students.

• Assist students and researchers in the completion of research reports, dissertations and theses.

• Provide a conducive environment for learning and serious study.
