Q.: How do I reach the Library of Haffkine Institute?
A.: The library of Haffkine Institute is located within the Main Campus of Haffkine Institute at Parel, Mumbai. It is located next to the Wadia Maternity Hospital and opposite to the KEM Hospital. If you are traveling by Western Railway, get down at Elphinstone Road Station. It is at a 20 minutes walkable distance from this station; If you are traveling by Central Railway, get down at Parel Railway Station. It is at 20 minutes walkable distance from the station; If you are traveling by Harbour Railway, get down at Shivadi Railway Station and take any bus from the nearby Bus Depot. The major landmarks include Wadia Hospital, KEM Hospital, Tata Hospital.

Q.: I am not a student of Haffkine Institute. Can I visit your library?
A.: Yes, definitely. You can visit our library for study and reference purpose and can make use of various services offered by the library. However, you can not avail of any borrowing privileges.

A.: For your reference queries you may directly approach the Chief Librarian or the staff at the Reference Desk.

A.: Monday through Friday (Except Public Holidays as declared by the Govt. of Maharashtra from time to time)

Q.: How can I obtain the photocopies of certain articles from the journals available in the library
A.: You may visit the library on any working day and get the required material photocopied within the limits of the copyright. In case you are not able to visit the library for any reason, you may send a letter of request mentioning the purpose of photocopy and providing the full details of the required article such as Title, Author, Name of the Journal, Volume, Year, Page Numbers, etc. If the required reference is available in the library, a photocopy will be sent within the limits of the copyright conventions. However, the requesting person is required to remit the necessary charges before the dispatch of the papers.
